Sitting alone

Today’s topic is about leadership — and building yourself.
I recently watched a podcast, The Diary of a CEO, where a female CEO shared her explanation on why people are having fewer friends these days.
Her sharing really opened my mind and helped me understand why I enjoy the quiet moments in my life so much.
For me, those quiet moments help me think clearly about what I want to do with my business and my life. They give me valuable insights, find self-reflection and solitude for my next steps.
When we’re young, we tend to surround ourselves with friends of the same age. But when we start working, our environment changes. The people we work with may not share the same growth journey. And that’s when we begin to feel more alone.
However, through those moments, we gain perspective.
I truly enjoy sitting with a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning, writing my thoughts in a notebook, and organizing what’s next.
No distractions, no noise — just me. Those are my most treasured moments.
When everything around you tries to steal your attention — notifications, meetings, messages — these quiet times are when you can step outside the noise, listen to your favorite music, and just write. Write down your thoughts, reflect, and think clearly.
That’s my favorite moment. What about you?
